• Tyrannosaurus of the same sex will actively challenge each other for territory and mating rights

• Adolescents may stay in their parents territory, but are not protected if attacked. Once they reach sub-adult their parents will become hostile and force them out the territory

• Males will have bright colors on their heads and throats
