Live together in groups for protection and socialization
During nesting season males become extremely confrontational and will challenge each other for the smallest things (Personal space, water, food, etc). These challenges can end in death if one doesn’t back down
Outside nesting season males are calm. May spar from time to time but nothing life threatening
SEXUAL DIMORPHISM:
Males have colorful frills to warn other males and impress females
