• Megalania live in large colonies that include individuals of all ages

• Members of a colony act solitary outside of challenges or scavenging and won’t protect another Megalania

• Hostilities towards one another and fights over food or space are common.

SEXUAL DIMORPHISM:

• During nesting season males will become more vibrant than females

• No sexual dimorphism outside nesting season
