INITIATE HUNTS
Only Carnivores/omnivores may initiate hunts
Can only initiate a hunt when at about 50% hunger.
If someone has a claimed body they may not be hunted, but may be challenged for their food
After a hunt is initiated the fight may only end if a member of either group is killed, the hunters successfully disengage from the hunt, or the hunted group escapes the hunters LOS for 1 minute.
Carnivores/omnivores must stay with a body down after a hunt until it despawns or they are challenged off of it
CHALLENGES AND TERRITORY
All creatures may initiate challenges for food, water, or personal space
Challenges may include territory (POI) if profile allows
Challenges must be initiated by the challenger by :threaten: call a minimum of 3 times
DISENGAGING A HUNT/CHALLENGES
Hunters or any challengers may attempt to disengage a hunt/challenge
To successfully disengage a hunt/challenge, a member of a group must run away, outside of an arg distance, from the opposing party and continue without any attempt to attack for over 10 seconds
Sitting outside of an argent distance of the opposing group for over 10 seconds during a hunt/challenge will also count as disengaging that hunt/challenge
Sleeping will be an automatic forfeit from any fight but unless properly disengaged you may still be attacked
Disengaged players may not be killed if they successfully disengage
If a player is not able to run away due to lack of stamina, bone break, etc., they may be killed by the opposing party
In a hunt or challenge not between group members, 4 calls do not matter.
It is up to the opposing party whether to accept a 4-call as an appropriate forfeit
Players that have disengaged may not re-enter a fight
FAILED HUNT/CHALLENGE TIMER OF 20 MINUTES
During that timer, the hunter may not attempt to hunt the same group until that timer is up
Hunt/challenge timers are separate You may challenge a group you have a hunting timer on and vice versa
Hunt/challenge timers are only on the group that failed/lost
If the hunt/challenge was successful no timer is allotted
BODY DENYING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED
Players may attempt to use terrain to avoid their hunters. This includes using the waters edge, however in the case they die their body must still be accessible to the hunter. Otherwise this will be considered body denying.
DEFENDING GROUP MEMBERS
Group members are allowed to defend other members of their group as their profile allows
To defend a group member they must be within render distance as the fight begins or they must run to you if outside this range
Joining or inviting someone into your group during a fight to defend them or so they can defend you is prohibited
You cannot defend anyone that is not part of your in-game group
THIRD PARTYING
Groups may not interrupt a hunt or challenge that was not initiated by them or on them
GRACE PERIOD
Fresh spawned players have a 1 minute grace period before they are able to be attacked
