SOCIAL BEHAVIOR (OPTIONAL):

• Travel together and socialize often

• Herds will circle around offspring if there is an active threat

• During nesting season males will challenge for mating rights, taking turns trading blows until one backs down

SEXUAL DIMORPHISM:

• Outside nesting season there is no sexual dimorphism

• During nesting season males will gain a variety of colors while females will turn darker
