SOCIAL BEHAVIOR (OPTIONAL):

• Not immediately aggressive towards one another, but will fight each other to claim any potential food in the area.

• When nesting, the male will watch over the offspring once all have hatched until they reach juvenile. During this time the female will be resting and making sure she is fed.

• Once the offspring reach juvenile, both parents will watch over the offspring

• Males more vibrant than females

• Males have higher spines than females
